This policy outlines the consequences for reported and substantiated violations at Wood Worx events. All incidents will be evaluated by the Wood Worx Events Board. The scale below provides a framework to ensure proportional, fair, and transparent responses.
- All Incident Reports will be reviewed by the Wood Worx Events Board.
- Formal investigations by the Wood Worx Event Board will be conducted for ALL level 3 & 4 violations.
- Repeated lower-level violations will be escalated to the next level.
- All incident reports will be kept on file and may be used in future cases.
If you have been the subject of or a witness to any violation:
- Submit an Incident Report Form. If you have any additional evidence you would like to share (screenshots, etc.), you can email that information to woodworxevents@gmail.com with the subject line "INCIDENT REPORT - YOUR FETLIFE NAME".
NOTE: Wood Worx Events reserves the right to update the Violations and Corrective Actions listed at each level as needed.
LEVEL 1 VIOLATIONS:
- First-time disruptive behavior due to minor intoxication.
- Mildly inappropriate comments (non-sexual) not directed at an individual.
- Accidental breach of protocol or etiquette.
- Unauthorized photo taken but deleted upon request with no further issue.
LEVEL 1 CORRECTIVE ACTIONS:
- Verbal or written warning.
- Clarification of rules and expectations.
- Educational conversation with a member of Wood Worx Events Board.
LEVEL 2 VIOLATIONS:
- Repeated level 1 violation(s).
- Disrespecting personal boundaries after being corrected.
- Moderate intoxication causing disruption.
- Harassment that is verbal or digital but non-threatening.
- Unauthorized photography or minor breach of privacy.
- False Reporting: Knowingly false or malicious reporting.
LEVEL 2 CORRECTIVE ACTIONS:
- Immediate removal from the current event.
- Suspension from the next 2 Wood Worx Events.
- Mandatory meeting with Wood Worx Events Board prior to return.
LEVEL 3 VIOLATIONS:
- Repeated level 2 violation(s).
- Hate speech, personal attacks, negative gossiping, or persistent prying.
- Retaliation against anyone who submits a report or participates in an investigation.
- Relitigating Wood Worx Events Board Decisions in any public forum.
- Attempted coercion or manipulation.
- Sexual conduct in non-designated areas.
- Sharing personal information without consent.
- Disrespecting safeword systems without significant harm.
- Pattern of harmful or boundary-pushing behavior.
LEVEL 3 CORRECTIVE ACTIONS:
- Formal investigation.
- Minimum Suspension from the next 4 Wood Worx Events.
- Probationary return with behavior contract and strict behavior monitoring.
- Required training or accountability conversation with consent educator or mediator.
LEVEL 4 VIOLATIONS:
- Repeated level 3 violation(s).
- Violation of consent (e.g., ignoring safewords, non-negotiated contact).
- Threats to physical/emotional safety.
- Sexual assault or predatory behavior.
- Harassment with the intent to intimidate, harm, or control.
- Repeated or egregious manipulation or coercion.
- Non-consensual recording or image sharing.
- Severe intoxication resulting in harm or violation.
- Pattern of multiple confirmed violations.
LEVEL 4 CORRECTIVE ACTIONS:
- Immediate removal from the current event and permanent ban from all future Wood Worx events.
- Notification to other relevant groups/organizers when the Wood Worx Events Board concludes that the community safety risk is high.
APPEALS PROCESS:
- Level 2 and 3 violators may request a review of their case within 30 days of decision.
- Level 4 violators will not be eligible for appeal except under exceptional circumstances determined by the Wood Worx Events Board.
Wood Worx Events reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the pass purchase price, to suspend or permanently ban without warning offenders of our Code of Conduct, any individuals with pending charges or convictions related to felonies, domestic violence, sexual assault, or any individual registered as a sex offender, or any individual whose presence may cause a disruption at our events or in our official group chat. If you fall into one of these categories, you are not allowed at a Wood Worx event. Before each event, we check every attendee on the National Sex Offender Public Website to ensure the safety of all who attend.
